Explanation

‘Motivation’ is the reason or driving force behind an action or behaviour. ‘Inducement’ is something that persuades or leads someone to act — essentially a motive offered — making it the nearest synonym. ‘Emotion’ is a feeling, ‘ambition’ is a strong desire for success, and ‘incitement’ is provocation to wrongdoing. Hence (a) is correct.
