Explanation

The Human Development Index uses three indicators: life expectancy at birth, education (mean years of schooling and expected years of schooling), and gross national income per capita. Poverty (option D) is measured separately by the Multidimensional Poverty Index, not the HDI. Therefore poverty is the indicator NOT used in computing the HDI.
