Explanation
The Narmada rises in the Amarkantak hills and flows westward through a rift valley between the Vindhya and Satpura ranges, emptying into the Gulf of Khambhat (Arabian Sea). Of the given tributaries, the Tawa, Hiran, Orsang and Kolar all join the Narmada. The Manjra, however, is a tributary of the Godavari in the Deccan, flowing through Maharashtra, Karnataka and Telangana — it never joins the Narmada. Hence the Manjra is the odd one out.
