Explanation

The warm temperate Mediterranean climate — dry summers and wet winters — occurs on western continental margins around 30–40° latitude. Cape Town (South Africa), Los Angeles (California), Adelaide (South Australia) and Santiago (Chile) are all textbook examples of it. Since all four cities experience this climate, the answer is 1, 2, 3 and 4.
